American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management

The American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management(AAPPM) is located in North Andover,MA. They have 40 plus years of experience of providing members with the practice management education and resources they need to practice more efficiently and profitably. American Association of Colleges of Podiatric Medicine

The AACPM stands for the advancement of podiatric medicine and its educational system. Consisting of seven colleges of podiatric medicine and over 200 hospitals and institutions that offer graduate or postdoctoral training in podiatric medicine, the AACPM is a not-for-profit educational association. American Board of Podiatric Surgery

Founded in 1975, the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS) is the organization responsible for board certification of podiatric foot and ankle surgeons in the United States. ABPS is the only organization recognized by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education to perform this function for the specialty area of podiatric surgery.

American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons

The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) is a professional society of 5,500 podiatric foot and ankle surgeons. Founded in 1942, ACFAS' goals are to promote the art and science of podiatric surgery, address the issues and concerns of the podiatric surgeon, and advance and improve standards of education and surgical skill. ACFAS members have completed surgical residency programs of up to four years, and all Fellows of the College are certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, the surgical board for foot and ankle surgery recognized by the Joint Committee on the Recognition of Specialty Boards.

American Podiatric Medical Association

The APMA is located in Bethesda, Maryland, just outside Washington, DC, and the Association has component societies in every state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the federal service. APMA represents its member podiatric physicians from across the country. The APMA also has more than 20 affiliated and related organizations. These organizations focus their attention on education, research, and specialty areas of interest, such as dermatology, pediatrics, radiology, and sports medicine, among others. The Association's Internet presence allows APMA to disseminate more foot and ankle health information to serve the public better. _
